Wim Kortland

Wim Kortland (1923 to present) was born in Holland, Netherlands

 

He studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts, Rotterdam.

 

On or about 1960, he migrated to Australia.

 

He is predominantly a landscape painter. He has painted from locations widely within Australia, including:- Goulburn Valley and the Yarra Valley areas, Victoria; Northern NSW; and Queensland.

 

Wim has exhibited widely, including a major exhibition alongside renowned artist, Howard Sparks (https://artspark.com.au/page/) at the Geoffrey Hoisser Galleries in 1986.
