Pro Hart

Kenneth Charles “Pro” Hart, MBE was an Australian painter.
Although a travelled artist, he spent most of his life in Broken Hill, NSW.
His main medium of choice were oils and acrylics. He was well known for using various methods to produce his works of art, including “balloon painting”, among others.
Pro Hart exhibited widely from the early 1960s.
A number of notable people and organisations hold Pro Hart’s works, including the late Price Phillip; and Sydney Opera House.
Pro Hart’s works are hung in a number of major art galleries, such as, the National Gallery of Australia, Art Gallery of N.S.W.; and the State Gallery of South Australia, among others.
In 1976 he was awarded an MBE for his services to art in Australia.
In 1982 he received an Honorary Life Membership of Society International Martinique for outstanding artistic achievement.
